Active Minds

Our Lady of Grace students are given numerous opportunities for enrichment activity throughout the course of the school year. Unlike many of our public school neighbors, OLG continues to offer our students courses in P.E., Music, Art – all taught by dedicated and qualified instructors.

Our Lady of Grace School is a participating member of the Parochial Athletic League (P.A.L.) which is comprised of the other Catholic Elementary Schools within our Diocese. Students are provided the opportunity to compete in Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Golf through the P.A.L. guidelines.

After school enrichment is not strictly limited to sports at OLG. We offer students the chance to participate in the annual school play to enhance the performing arts.Students may also sign up for Spanish classes that are offered after school.

The Diocese of Sacramento also affords the students at Our Lady of Grace with ample enrichment opportunities, including the Diocesan Speech Contest, the Academic Decathlon and the Diocesan Religion Contest.

Young minds require continuous motivation to keep active in positive directions. Our summer camp program, Camp OLG, offers this opportunity through continued academic enrichment with many of our teachers staying on over the summer to work with our students. Camp OLG provides students with core subject studies, as well as extra-curricular courses in subjects like Art, Drama, Spanish, Cooking, Computers and Sports.

As you can see, we make every effort to educate the whole student at Our Lady of Grace School.
