A Servant's Servant

At Our Lady of Grace School, students are encouraged and given the opportunity on a regular basis to do community outreach. Our Student Council organizes the student body and conducts numerous fund raisers and charitable collections throughout the year. Some past examples include canned food drives during Thanksgiving and Christmas, Toy Drives for less fortunate children, Penny Drives for local Women’s Shelters, and volunteer time at local senior centers. The opportunities are abundant and the students are lead by example to understand that Social Justice and giving to others is a virtue that, if experienced early and often in life, will become a lasting characteristic that our students leave us with.

As a requirement for graduation, our 7th and 8th grade students are mandated to complete extra community service hours outside of the opportunities on campus.
