Anointing of the Sick – Persons who
are sick or who are going to have
surgery may request the Sacrament of
the Sick by calling the Parish Office.
One need not be in immediate danger
of death.
St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) – If anyone
in our Parish or greater community
needs assistance, or if anyone would
like to volunteer their time to work with
our Parish SVDP program please call

Youth Ministry – A youth ministry
program for our high school students
meets throughout the year for Faith
Formation, volunteering and social

GENERAL INFORMATION
Baptism – Mandatory classes for
parents and godparents are schedule
the first and second Mondays of the
month at 6pm. Baptisms will be
scheduled only after the completion of
these two classes and of all the
required paperwork. Please all the
Parish Office to register.
Children’s Religious Education (K-8th)
– Tuesday from 5:30 – 6:45 pm at the
school. Includes preparation in the
second grade for receiving First
Eucharist, and preparation in the
eighth grade for Confirmation.
Matrimony – Engaged couples should
contact the Pastor to begin
preparation a minimum of six months
prior to the time you would like to be
married. Please do not make other
arrangements before meeting with the
Pastor.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
(RCIA) – Sessions for anyone wishing
to learn more about the Catholic faith,
especially the unbaptized, baptized
Christians who want to join the Catholic
Church, and baptized Catholics who
wish to complete initiation with
Eucharist and Confirmation. Classes
in the Rectory meeting room Monday
nights 7-8:30 pm.
Funerals – Please call the Parish
office.
Mass intentions – Honor a loved one,
living or deceased, during the
celebration of Mass. Please call the
Rectory if you would like to request a

Eucharistic Ministers –Special
ministers of the Eucharist should be
people of prayer who have a special
love for the Eucharist. They assist in
distributing Communion at Masses and
bringing Eucharist (the Body of Christ)
to the sick and homebound as
needed. Please call Donna Moore

Music Ministry –Do you enjoy singing
or playing music in adoration of our
Lord. The music ministry’s purpose is
to enhance our liturgies through
prayerful singing. Anyone with an

Greeters/Ushers –A warm smile and
word of welcome that reflects God's
love can help all worshipers enter
more easily and more fully into the
celebration of the liturgy. This
important ministry also shows
parishioners to seats, gathers the
Sunday collection, arranges for the
presentation of the gifts, and
distributes parish bulletins after mass.

Lectors – Do you desire to share God
word with others? Consider
proclaiming the Word at mass!

Alter Servers – The primary role of the
altar server is to assist the priest in the
celebration of the liturgy during Mass.
This is done through specific actions
and by setting an example to the
congregation by active participation in
the liturgy (hymns, responses, etc.)
Those wishing to participate in this

Catechists – Through word and
example, catechists teach the Catholic
faith and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus
Christ to adults, youth, and children in
programs such as CFF and RCIA. Are

Bible Study –Great Adventures of the Bible.
This 24-week bible course will help parishioners
understand more fully the major people, places,
events, and theme of God’s plan of salvation
history by understanding the “big picture” of the
Bible story. Learn about God’s marvelous plan of
salvation history and how your own faith story fits
into God’s plan. For more information on when the

Knights of Columbus – Knights are Catholic men,
18 years of age and older, who are committed to
making their community a better place, while
supporting their Church, enhancing their own faith,
and protecting and enhancing their family life.
Council #9469 meets the 2nd Wednesday of each
month at 7:30 p.m. in the Convent Building of Our
Lady of Grace School. For membership

Organized in 1956 and affiliated with the Diocese
Council of Catholic Women, the OLG Women’s
Council raises funds for scholarships to graduating
8th grade students, decorating the church for
holidays, providing bereavement services to
parishioners for funerals, and for altar needs.
Daughter of the Holy Spirit Associates –
Associates are lay persons who feel at home with
the Daughters of the Holy Spirit. They sense a call
to be available to the Spirit's mission of love and
life, and to devote themselves to the poor, the
disadvantaged and the oppressed. For more

Parish Pastoral Council – The Parish Pastoral
Council's purpose is to enhance the process of:
pastoral planning, developing pastoral programs,
improving pastoral services, and evaluating the
pastoral effectiveness of various programs and
services.

Finance Committee – The Finance Committee is
a consultative body that assists the Pastor in his
duties of administering the temporal goods of his
parish and assures that the parish’s temporal
resources are properly maintained and utilized. In
fulfilling its responsibilities the Parish Finance
Council must be directed by the values of the
Gospel as well as by good business practices.
Efficient and effective use and management of
parish resources must be measured as much by
their contribution to parish mission and ministry
as by commonly accepted business standards.
